Dammika Wijesekera is the founder of Serendib Accountants and has over 26 years of experience in the accounting profession. She gained experience in accounting and auditing by working for Wijyaratna & Co., which is one of the leading audit firms in Sri Lanka. Moving forward, she joined the National Development Bank as an accountant before starting her audit firm in 2000.
After continuing this for six years, she came to Australia and started her own bookkeeping business. After doing this for several years and gaining experience and qualifications, in 2013 she established her tax practice as a certified practising accountant. While managing the tax practice she acquired Serendib Financial Services, an AUSTRAC registered remittance provider with over 27 years of history in Australia.
